Obituary of Yolanda Carole Greco Crady

Yolanda "Landa" Carole Greco Crady 81, formerly of Kunz Road, Broadalbin, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening at the River Ridge Living Center. Born in Amsterdam on October 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Anthony & Josephine Cavaliere Greco. She was a 1944 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Landa worked for several years at Mohawk Sportswear in Amsterdam. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church. On Sept. 22, 1956, she was united in marriage to John Crady who predeceased her on November 18, 1988. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her longtime companion Jerry Robusto on May 12, 2008, and her siblings Sandra Dalesandro, Rachel Mosher and Peter Greco. Her loving family includes her brother Joseph Judith Greco of Amsterdam and several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews to whom she was a special and loving aunt. Landa was a friend to all animals and enjoyed many beloved pets through the years, even the birds outside her window at River Ridge. Her wonderful laugh and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. Services, to which relatives and friends are invited, are Tuesday morning at 8:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:15 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with Fr. Lawrence J. Decker, celebrant. Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson. There are no calling hours on Monday. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Montgomery Co. SPCA in care of the funeral home office.
