my grandmother was one of the most amazing people i could ever think of. i wouldn't be who i am today without her, i can tell you that. i miss her with all my heart and i think about her everyday. it would be hard to not, i see her everytime i look in the mirror. i will never forget her. i have been thinking of her just about everyday lately. from a silly memory to breakfast time. she made these awesome buckwheat pancakes for me once, oh, i can almost taste them just thinking about it. in the 8 and a half months that she has been gone, about all but 20 days i have thought about her & those pancakes when i ate breakfast. ya know, everyone talks about what they remember and honestly, i can't remember her voice or the way she laughed or any of that, barely even what she looked like. and its getting really hard. but one night as i was laying in bed i simply remembered the way she moved her foot in & out of her slippers as she rocked in her recliner, and i suddenly got a vision, in the vision i made myself travel up to see her face and i did, and it scared the hell out of me. it was the first time i had remembered something good about her, the first time i remembered what she looked like besides in that wooden box. i just, couldn't bear it. i miss her so much. i never would have thought that the christmas before this last one would have been the last. never. or i would have cherised it a little more. i don't really even remember that christmas anymore, its been too long. but God if i knew it was going to be the last, i would have memorized every movement.
she used to yell at me and my brother lucas all the time when we spent the night together "you two need to stop raising hell!".. i loved it.
&+ i used to find it annoying when we went ANYWHERE and my father said, "look we used to live here" or "look, thats one of our old places" and i just loved it when she took me out riding around and SHE told me those things.. i'll never forget one time we were out looking at old places and i think we were on oswegatchie road or somewhere around there, and she was telling me about mustard flowers or whatever they were called, the fields they were in were soooo yellow! like they were just a puddle of mustard on a plate.
i miss my grandmother so much, and i will forever, there will never be a day i go without thinking of her and i know she is looking down on me right now and watching over me. i can't wait until the day that i will see her again.
i love &+ miss you gram.

Uncle Mick, Raym and sons and ALL FAMILY,
I will miss Aunt Poog very much. I didnt get to see her as much as I would of liked to but when I did see her she always had a big smile and was always laughing telling me to get over there and give ole aunt poog a hug and a kiss. It is a shame that at these tragic moments in everyones life that it is the only time we get to see each other. I truly hope we can all find time to see each other again at a more happier time and a little more often. My heart and my prayers are with all of you and your families. Be strong and everyone will miss Aunt Poog dearly.
