Obituary of Wanda A. Krutz

Wanda A. Lech Krutz 88, formerly of Swart Hill Road, passed away peacefully Monday evening at the Mount Loretto Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in Perth, NY on July 7, 1920, she was the daughter of Anthony and Edna Zalinska Lech. She was a graduate of Perth Central School. Wanda lived here her entire life. She was first employed by the Mohawk Carpet Co. and later Consolidated Novelty. She retired in 1978 from Esquire Novelty. She was a member of Cranesville Reformed Church and the Country Cousins Seniors. On October 9, 1938, she was united in marriage to Emil Krutz. He predeceased her in 1991. She also lost her brother, Joseph Lech as well as her parents. Survivors include her brothers, Marshall and Frank Lech both of Amsterdam; sisters, Alfreda Fedaszczyn of Amsterdam and Helen Marshall of Milltown, NJ, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins. Services are Thursday at 11:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue with the Rev. Mary- Lynn Morrison officiating. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Wanda?s name to the Cranesville Reformed Church or to Mt. Loretto Nursing Home both in care of the funeral home office. Wanda?s family is most grateful to the staff of Mt. Loretto for their kindness and care these past ten years.
