Obituary of Matthew Jacob Bush

Matthew Jacob Bush, 16, of Lansing Rd., Fultonville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 18th, 2009 at his home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on November 25th, 1992 a son of Gerald J. and Linda Korona Bush. He was a lifelong area resident and was currently an 11th grade student at Fonda Fultonville Central High School. Matthew was active in the High Schools Select Chorus of which he enjoyed being a port of very much. He was a fun person to be around, always happy, light hearted and was quick to pull practical jokes. He was a family oriented, fun loving young man and will be missed by all. Matthew also enjoyed his pets, his dog Zena and cat Bear. Matthew was of the Christian Faith. He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Linda Korona Bush of Fultonville, NY. One brother, Adam J. Bush of Fultonville, NY. Three sisters, Sarah E. Bush of Fultonville and Kendra A. Bush of Fultonville and Carol Bush Steiger Larry of Amsterdam. Loving grandparents, Richard Korona of Gloversville and Patricia Korona of Amsterdam. He was like a big brother to David and Heather Anderson. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother Katherine Bush and Paternal Grandfather Fmr. Amsterdam Police Chief Jacob Bush. Aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends also survive. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday April 22nd, 2009 at 7:00P.M. at the Fonda Fultonville Central School Auditorium in Fonda, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday April 22nd, 2009 prior to the memorial service from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. at the school. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St., Fultonville, NY 12072. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Scholarship Fund to be set up in Matthew Jacob Bush?s name for a student that attends Fonda Fultonville Central School.
