Obituary of Kevin Todd Luft

Kevin Todd Luft, 27, of McKay Rd., Amsterdam, passed away Sunday March 15th, 2009 with his friends at his side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on August 18th, 1981 a son of Carol Mazurkiewicz Dugan and Step Father Charles Dugan. He was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and was a 1999 graduate of Amsterdam High School. Kevin was a member of the Marching Rams while in High School. He went on to attend SUNY Oneonta and later was a graduate of the School of Modern Welding in Schenectady. Mr. Luft was currently employed at Intermagnetics in Latham, NY where he worked as a welder. Kevin enjoyed being with his family and especially his friends and was a fan of the rock band "Kiss". He is survived by his Mother, Carol Dugan and her husband and Step-Father Charles "Chuck" Dugan of Hagaman, NY. One brother, Kenneth W. Luft and his companion Amanda Ottalagano of Galway, NY. A Half Brother, Rodney Luft of Amsterdam. His companion, Suzy Wenskoski of Amsterdam. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends along with his beloved dog Dozer also survive. Kevin was very proud of the fact that he would soon be an Uncle. Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 20th, 2009 at 10:00A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home with Father Martin DeRose presiding. Private Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Green Hill Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday March 19th, 2009 from 3:00 to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.
