Obituary of Michael John Waldvogel

Michael John Waldvogel, 29, of South Main St., Gloversville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday February 19th, 2009 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady as a result of injuries sustained in a Motor Vehicle Pedestrian accident that occurred on November 29th, 2008. Born in Amsterdam, NY on May 5th, 1979 a son of Shawn Scott and Felicia Whitbeck Waldvogel. He was a lifetime resident of Amsterdam, Fonda and the Gloversville area. He attended Fonda Fultonville Schools. Michael is of the Protestant faith. He was a happy and care free person who loved life. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his parents Felicia and Shawn Scott Waldvogel of Gloversville, NY. Three sons, Michael Waldvogel Jr., Ayedin Michael Waldvogel and Gustace Waldvogel all of Gloversville, NY. One daughter, Tianna Waldvogel of Gloversville, NY. Two brothers, Shawn Michael Waldvogel of Gloversville, NY, Dereck Waldvogel of Gloversville, NY. Three sisters, Tiffany, Alice and Whitney Waldvogel of Gloversville, NY. Paternal Grandmother Delores Jennings and Maternal grandmother Alice Jordan. He is also survived by the mothers of his children, Ashilee Herring and Kandy Dylong. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Waldvogel was predeceased by a daughter Eadrianna Logan Michelle Waldvogel and his grandfathers, David Jennings and Lee James Whitbeck. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 23rd, 2009 at 11:00A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam with Rev. Cynthia Leonard presiding. Interment will be held in the Spring in Powell Wiswall Cemetery, Ballston Spa, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday February 23rd, 2009 prior to the funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
