Obituary of Tito Santiago

Tito Santiago 39, of Lincoln Avenue, passed away Tuesday morning at his home after a long illness. He was born August 10, 1969 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He was the son of Anicasio Santiago Garcia and the late Felicita Rivera Sanchez Santiago. Tito attended schools in Puerto Rico. In 1998 he moved to Amsterdam where he has since lived. Survivors include his loving family, his father Anicasio Santiago Garcia of Puerto Rico; two sons, Tito Santiago of Puerto Rico and Bryan Santiago of Amsterdam; a daughter, Tashanie Santiago of Amsterdam; two brothers, Manuela Santiago and Alexander Santiago both of Amsterdam; a sister Maria Ibanez of Amsterdam; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in Puerto Rico and Amsterdam. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at 11:00 AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Fr. John Medwid officiating. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery. A calling period will take place on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
