Obituary of Harold Kettler

Harold Kettler died Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He was born on February 9, 1930, the son of Raymond and Dorothy Bowdish Kettler in Ft. Plain. He attended Kaleidoscope Day Hab and resided at the Indian Road IRA since April of 2002. He loved the outdoors and being in the sunshine, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, card games and music, especially Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. He will be dearly missed by his sister, and all of his friends and staff at the Lexington Center. Harold is survived by his sister, Ruth J. Quinn of Gloversville. Family and friends are invited and may call at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, Thursday, September 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams presiding. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in Harold's memory to the Lexington Center, 465 North Perry Street.
