Obituary of David B. Insognia

Mr. David B. Insognia, Jr; age 25, died at his home on Monday, September 15, 2008. His death occurred as a result of an accident that took place while working on his "Dream Home" which he purchased last year. He was born June 19, 1983 in Gloversville, the son of David Insognia, Sr. and Mary Keller Insognia. A 2002 graduate of Gloversville High School, David also received an electrical degree from Fulton Montgomery Community College. He was employed for over five years at Ruby & Quiri Inc. of Johnstown. David enjoyed archery, hunting and four-wheeling. He was always willing to help people with tasks that needed to be done. He will always be loved by all of his friends and relatives. His main goal in life was his recent purchase of his home in Fonda wher he was building his "Dream Home" for himself and his loving companion Rebecca A. Warner. Survivors, in addition to Rebecca are his father, David B. Insognia, Sr. Jem Morse of Gloversville; his mother, Mary J. Keller Randy Akey of Gloversville and his sister, Nacole M. Insognia Dan Smith of Saratoga Springs. Additional survivors include Rebecca's father, Gary Warner of Gloversville; her mother, Lori Holmes of Mayfield and her brothers, Gary Warner II and Matthew Warner of Mayfield. David's three "kids" are his beagle "C.J.", his Huskie "Isabelle" and his cat Beau Duffy. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a fuenral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams officiating. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 421 New Karner Rd; Suite 6, Albany, NY 12205.
