Obituary of Richard E. Anderson

Richard E. "Rick" Anderson Sr., 50, of Indian Road, Fonda, NY passed away peacefully early Monday, April 07, 2008 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born on August 16, 1957 in Little Falls, NY he was the son of Richard Anderson and Theresa Christiano. A lifelong area resident, he attended Fonda High School and worked for over 30 years for the Keymark Corp. in Fonda. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved working on the farm. He was also a former racecar driver at Fonda Speedway. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His loving family includes, his wife Tamie Kilmartin Anderson, whom he married on December 10, 1977; two children, Jeanie Anderson Kenny Korona of Glen. NY and Richard Anderson Jr. and his wife Jessica of Fort Plain, NY; his parents, Theresa Christiano of Johnstown, NY and Richard Anderson and his wife Rae of Hector, NY; four sisters, Theresa Olmstead and her husband Howard of Johnstown, NY, Kathy Calabrese and her husband Steve of Oppenheim, NY, JoAnn Anderson of Johnstown, NY, Bobbie Jo Coons Frank Senzio of Johnstown, NY; and one brother, Roy Anderson of Johnstown, NY; a step- sister, Kriss Wendorf and her husband Tim of CA; a step- brother, Daniel Venczel of Hector, NY; four grandchildren, Shauna, Summer, Hailie and Bryce; his mother-in-law, Betty Kilmartin and extended family members; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1 o'clock at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY with the Rev. Kenneth Dingman presiding. Interment will take place in Maple Avenue Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 4 until 7 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
