Obituary of Margaret Arlene Blinsinger

Margaret Arlene Blinsinger, 64, of County Highway 126, Town of Perth, NY passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday November 26, 2007 at the E.L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam. She was born January 17, 1943 to Blanche Van Dyke and Anthony Trzaskos of Amsterdam. Born and raised in Amsterdam, Margaret was a 1961 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She was a Majorette all through high school. After high school she married her loving husband Ronald Blinsinger Sr. of Amsterdam on June 23, 1962. Margaret previously worked as a bus driver/dispatcher for the Broadalbin-Perth School District until her retirement in 1993. She was also a volunteer EMT for Broadalbin Ambulance Service. She was also a board member for the Fulton County S.P.C.A. Margaret was an avid camper and loved spending her summers at Wells and North Hampton Campgrounds. In the winter she had a passion for playing Bingo with her friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Blanche and Anthony Trzaskos and her brothers Francis and Robert Trzaskos. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ronald Blinsinger Sr. of the Town of Perth, NY, Ronald Blinsinger Jr. of Broadalbin and her two daughters Sharon Hayes of Broadalbin and Nola Blinsinger of Wynantskill, NY Survivors also include her son-in-law, Dan Hayes and her three grandchildren, Jeremie and Corey Blinsinger and Autumn Hayes. One niece, Trinity Trzaskos and three nephews, Christopher, Joseph and Tom Trzaskos. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday November 30th, 2007 at 3:00P.M. at St. Stephen?s Roman Catholic Church, Pawling St, Hagaman, NY, with Father Ronald Matulewicz as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret?s memory to the Community Hospice of Amsterdam House Fund, 246 Manny?s Corner Rd. Amsterdam, NY 12010 or to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.
