Obituary of Virginia Muselbeck

Virginia Muselbeck, 78, of Scotch Church Rd., Pattersonville, NY passed away Thursday morning October 11, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on June 15, 1929 in Cranesville, NY she was a daughter of Ernest and Bessie Snyder Dopp. Virginia was a lifelong resident of the area and attended local schools. She was employed for many years at the Woestina School in Rotterdam Junction in the food service department retiring in 2000. She also worked for 10 years in the kitchen at Parillo?s Armory Grill in Amsterdam. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Amsterdam for many years and enjoyed gardening, going to the casino and playing bingo but above all she loved being a Mom and taking care of her extended family. She married Richard Muselbeck Sr. on March 28, 1948, he passed away on November 1, 2004. Survivor?s include one son, Richard F. Muselbeck Jr. Katey of Fonda, NY, four daughters, Deborah Paul Wilde of Mayfield, Darlene Muselbeck of Rotterdam Junction, N.Y., Diana Thomas Cionek of Fort Johnson, NY and Denise Ronald Waldron of Tribes Hill, NY. One grandson, Peter Keller and five granddaughters, Tammy Ronald Cronin, Nichole Childers, Anne Keller, Brenna Waldron and Keira Shea Muselbeck. Three great-granddaughters and Two great-grandsons. Five sisters, Geraldine Furman, Doris Newkirk and Gladys Patterson all of Amsterdam, Marilyn Politano Frank of Fayetteville, NY and Barbara Bramer Edward of Amsterdam. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Virginia was pre-deceased by four brothers, Lawrence, Donald, Gerald, and Harold Dopp and one sister, Sylvia Barker. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 13, 2007 at 1:00P.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam with the Rev. Bonnie Orth presiding. Interment will be in Maple Ave, Cemetery, Fultonville, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday October 12, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pattersonville Volunteer Fire Department c/o the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.
