Obituary of Mary A. Iannotti

Mary A. Iannotti 90, of Albany Street, Schenectady, passed away early Wednesday morning at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Herkimer on August 14, 1917, she was the daughter of Peter and Anna Chmielewski Yuchniewicz, emigrants from Poland. She moved to Amsterdam where she resided until moving to Saratoga where she lived for over thirty years. She made her home in Schenectady for the past several years. A home maker, she was the widow of Joseph R. Iannotti who predeceased her on January 30, 1970. Mary loved to dance, especially enjoying going to the Polka fests with friends. Her loving family includes her son Andrew R. ?Chickie? Iannotti of Amsterdam; granddaughters, Tammy Iannotti and Jacqueline DiScenza ; her great granddaughter, Katie DiScenza all of Amsterdam; her sister, Jennie Yuchniewicz of Canajoharie and her special canine pal ?Ike?. In addition to her parents and husband, a brother Lewis and sister Wanda also predeceased her. Services are Saturday morning at 10:15 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, followed by the Mass Of Christian Burial at 11:15 am at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church also in Amsterdam. Fr. Pascal A. Iannotti a cousin, will officiate. Entombment will take place privately at the family mausoleum in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA in care of the funeral home office.
