Obituary of Gregory B. Robinson

Gregory B. Robinson, Beloved Husband and Father, State highway 30A, passed away Thursday at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a long illness. Born March 12, 1956 in Gouverneur, New York, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Virginia M. Roberts Robinson. He moved to Fultonville in 1988 where he has since lived. Greg was a graduate of the Hermon- DeKalb Central School and a graduate of the Canton Agricultural Technical College with an Associates Degree in Electronics. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. In January 1988, Greg was employed as an Electrical Technician for General Electric Company of Schenectady until retiring recently due to ill health. Greg loved building radio controlled planes and helicopters from kits and from scratch and enjoyed flying them. He was a member of the Screaming Eagles and the Lazy Eights, radio controlled flying clubs. Greg had a great sense of humor, loved playing the guitar and was very talented building and repairing anything. On December 27, 1980 he married the former Lori A. Ellis. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Michael Robinson of Fultonville; a daughter, Angela Cole of Gloversville, NY; two brothers and their families. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 1, 2007 at 9:00 AM at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home 15 Main Street in Fultonville, NY, with the Rev. Raymond Barnett officiating. Burial will follow at the East Riverside Cemetery in Gouveneur, NY. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home.
