Obituary of Penny Lee Lyons

Penny Lee Lyons, age 55 of Gloversville, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 surrounded by her family at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville, following a short illness. She was born March 7, 1952 in Gloversville, the daughter of Gordon and L. Winifred Frank Lyons. She enjoyed hummingbirds, dolls and tulips. Survivors include a daughter, Wendy M. Brower and her fiance Adam D. Crouse of Gloversville; her mother, L. Winifred Lyons of Gloversville; her loving companion, Robert ?Bob? Sickler of Galway; a brother, Glenn D. Lyons of Gloversville; two sisters, Donna M. Riley Michael and Lynn D. Albanese Mark of Gloversville; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; also her brothers Ronald G. Lyons Sr. and Douglas G. Lyons; niece, Tanya Lyons and nephew Michael Riley Jr. There will be no calling hours. A private service will take place at the convenience of the family on Tuesday at Kobuskie - Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, with the Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams officiating. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
