Obituary of Jennifer L. Pickering

Jennifer L. ?Fuzzy? Pickering, 29, of barber Street, Fonda, passed away Wednesday evening at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on August 2, 1977 in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Neil ?Burger? Van Lavoie and Penny Pickering. She was a lifelong area resident and attended Fonda ? Fultonville Central School. Fuzzy will be remembered as a fun loving person, and will be missed by all who knew her. Her loving family includes; her mother; the love of her life, Keith Hustings; a brother, Michael Pickering and his wife Gloria of Tribes Hill, NY; several aunts and uncles including, Gale Daley of Rotterdam, NY, John Pickering of Carlisle, NY, Keith Pickering and his wife Jeanie of Ft. Plain, NY, Curt Pickering and his wife Beverly of Johnstown, Helen Thayer and her husband Milt of Syracuse, NY; a special cousin, Debbie Pickering of Johnstown, NY; and many dear friends including, Sherri Boiano, Tina ?Pony? Gradert, Michael Pierce, Philip ?Pops? Marks, Ted Chamberlin, Robert Kenyon; and her special pet ?Root beer.? Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11a.m. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10 until 11. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Maple Avenue Cemetery.
