Obituary of Josephine M. Kilinski

Josephine M. Kilinski, 92, of Rt.30 North, went to her lord, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday afternoon at St. Mary?s Hospital. Born in Glen, NY on April 9, 1915, she was the daughter of Michael and Mary Tumidajewicz Motyl. She attended schools in Ft. Johnson and lived here her entire life. Josephine was employed as a creeler for Bojud Knitting Mills for seventeen years and was a member of St. Stanislaus? Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam and St. Joseph?s Roman Catholic Church in Broadalbin. Josephine enjoyed working and always loved to give all she could to her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and always put others before herself. On October 24, 1936 she married Edmund Kilinski. He predeceased her on April 18, 1970. She was also predeceased by a son, Edmund P. Kilinski, Jr.; four sisters, all in 2002, Stella Taboleski, Bernice J. Kilinski, Lottie Lewis and Winifred Urbielewicz; step brothers; Edward and Stanley Bozek. Her loving family includes her daughters, Irene Adamkoski and Betty Ann Kilinski both of Perth; a son; Andrew L. Kilinski of Bristol, TN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A Vigil service will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. David Mickiewicz officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will take place in St. Stanislaus cemetery. Calling hours will take place Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Josephine?s memory to St. Stanislaus Church, 73 Reid Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010 or to Perth Volunteer Fire Department, 4080 State Highway 30, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
