Carla L. Gottbehut entered Heaven?s Gates peacefully on April 16, 2007 with her family at her side. Carla was 57 years old and was a great wife and mother. Carla enjoyed spending time with her husband John, at Moose Creek Camp in Stratford, and also assisted her husband with remodeling their home. They worked side by side together building their Adirondack room. Carla enjoyed shopping, decorating her home, gardening in her flower garden, as well as spending time with her family. She was not only Kimberly?s mother, but her best friend and shopping partner. Carla and her family ate dinner together nearly every Friday night and enjoyed great times at Harry?s Pleasant Lake Inn. She also received her license to sell insurance and worked at the Ringle Agency, the Colonial Agency and Jacksland-Warner Associates insurance agency in Johnstown. Carla is survived by her beloved honey, John, whom she married on July 19, 1969, and by her two children John P. Gottbehut, Jr., and his wife Chrissy and Kimberly L. Gottbehut, and of course her dog Sierra; brothers, Jeff Sherril Ward, Paul Janet Ward, Christopher Sandra Ward, Bart Marge Ward and Michael Ward and by her sisters, Shelly Alan Hinkle and Misty Pallella. She is also survived by her two aunts, Betty Tretola and Marilyn Russ Terrell, by several nieces, nephews and cousins and by her loving extended family Mark and Nancy Clemente.
