Obituary of Marion Lehr

Mrs. Marion Lehr, 79 of Gloversville, died Thursday at her residence following a long illness. Mrs. Lehr was born in Gloversville on June 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys Dibble Dunham. She was educated in Gloversville schools and was a home maker. A devoted wife and mother, Marion always enjoyed her family first. Her outside interests included bingo, word find puzzles and casino visits. She is survived by her husband; Howard Lehr of Gloversville whom she married December 24, 1949. Her children: Thomas Joanne Lehr, Kathy Donald Peeler, Sandra Ronald Martin Larry Christine Lehr and Lori Ronald Patterson all of Gloversville. She is also survived by a brother; Jack Dunham and his companion Joyce and two sisters; Beverly Jack Spraker and Betty Joe Hine all of Gloversville, fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marion was pre-deceased by two sisters: Barbara Kudersnatch and Margaret Colby, and a brother; Bruce Dunham. Funeral services will be conducted 10 am Wednesday from the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street with Reverend R.W. Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mt. Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville.
