Obituary of Regina Wytrwal

Regina Wytrwal, 85 of Hibbard Street, Amsterdam, passed away Friday morning at the Wesley Heath Care Center in Saratoga Springs.Born April 4, 1921, in Amsterdam, New York she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Sajta Zierak. She lived most of her live in Amsterdam and was a graduate of the Wilbur Lynch High School.Regina was employed as a bookkeeper for the Hays & Wormuth, Insurance Company for a number of years. Years ago she served as a Girl Scout leader and was parishioner of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church. Regina loved her grandchildren dearly, she was an avid golfer and loved to go out for lunch with her girlfriends and she loved the Yankees.On November 27, 1947, she married Theodore Wytrwal who died July 12, 1995. She was also predeceased by a grandson Christopher L. Polak, who died August 27, 2000 and her late brother Raymond J. Zierak, who died April 3, 2006. Survives include her loving family; two daughters, Fran Robert Bazarnick, of Saratoga Springs and Marge Chip Polak of Manchester, New Hampshire; A step sister Helen Malicki of Amsterdam; three grandchildren, Joe Bazarnick of Malta, Jennifer Erik Karpinski of Burlington, Vermont, Paige Polak of Manchester, New Hampshire and several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, New York followed by a Funeral Mass to be held at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 73 Reid Street, Amsterdam with the Reverend David Mickiewicz as celebrant. Burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Amsterdam. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2007 from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contribution made be made in Regina?s memory to St. Stanislaus Church.
