Obituary of Frank E. Miller

Frank E. ?Butch? Miller, 71, formerly of Romeyn Avenue, passed away March 6, 2007. Born in Amsterdam, New York on January 10, 1936, he was the son of Otto and Pearle Stevens Miller Sr. He was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Butch attended Ithaca College for Physical Education, and assisted with the AHS Football Program for over 50 years. He also worked for the school district running the teacher registry for several years, and was a substitute teacher. He also was active with the Little Giants Football Program. Butch will be remembered as a teacher, coach, mentor, friend and # 1 fan of AHS football and will be deeply missed. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 1:30p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. Bonnie Orth presiding. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Butch?s favorite organization the AHS Football Program in care of the funeral home.
