Obituary of David James Deer

David James Deer, 46, of South Main St., Central Bridge, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 6, 2007 at his home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 30, 1960 a son of the late Howard D. and Rose M. Lawyer Deer. He was a resident of the Schoharie area most of his life. He was a 1980 graduate of Schoharie Central High School. Mr. Deer was currently employed as a licensed Security Guard for Rotterdam Ventures Inc. in Guilderland. He was of the Christian Faith. He was an avid Hunter and outdoorsman. Mr. Deer was a member of the Middleburg Rod and Gun Club and was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He also enjoyed antique cars and car shows. Survivor?s include, One Sister, Rose Rivera of Fonda. His Aunts and Uncles, Ken and Brenda Deer of Fonda, NY and Florence Bartlett of Florida. One niece, Evelyn Watkins of Fonda, NY. Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening March 13, 2007 at 7:00P.M. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St. Fultonville, NY with the Rev. Brett Popp presiding. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sand Flats, Fonda, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service on Tuesday beginning at 5:00P.M. at the funeral home.
