Obituary of Mildred Clemente Brossoie

Mrs. Mildred Clemente Brossoie, age 93 of Gloversville, died Friday morning, March 2, 2007 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville, NY. She was born on July 15, 1913 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Angelina Etes Clemente. A lifelong resident of Gloversville, Millie was employed at the former Superb Glove Company in Johnstown, and also for more than twenty years at Mario Papa and Sons in Gloversville. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Survivors include two children, Ruth Crocetta and Thomas M. Nigro of Gloversville; two sisters, Mary Aufiero of Ballston Spa and Esther Clemons of Glenville; two brothers, Frank Clemente of Gloversville and The Rev. Michael Clemente of Florida; a step-sister, Theresa Cleveland of Chapel Hill, NC; a step-brother, Roy Giuliano of Rochester; six grandchildren, Anthony and James Crocetta, Thomas Jr. and Michael Nigro, Tammy Purdy and Tara Goliber; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward ?Babe? Brossoie, also by her brothers Salvatore, Albert, Joseph and Angelo Clemente; and a sister Theresa Gardiner. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm Sunday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Gloversville. The Very Rev. Donald Czelusniak will be the celebrant. Interment will take place in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility, 847 Co.
