Obituary of Betty Marie Kuehner

Mrs. Betty Marie Bower Kuehner, 86, of Cape Coral, Florida, died Tuesday February 27, 2007 at The Woodlands Assisted Care Facility in Cape Coral. A longtime resident of Gloversville, New York, she moved to Cape Coral in 1991. Betty was born March 21, 1920 in Gloversville, the daughter of Bert H. and Bessie Watson Bower. She received her nursing degree from Nathan Littauer Hospital where she was employed as a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was a member of the former First United Methodist Church of Gloversville. On June 9, 1945, she married Edwin Charles Kuehner, who predeceased her in 2002. Survivors include one brother: Robert E. Bower of Williamsburg, Virginia; two children, Pastor Bert H. Kuehner of Chipman, New Brunswick, Canada, and Carol Anne Lincoln of Cape Coral, Florida; a daughter-in-law Carol Louise Kuehner and son-in-law Harvey M. Lincoln; four grandchildren, Sarah Lois Clark, Nathanael Paul Kuehner, Joel Ethan Kuehner, and Jeremy Titus Kuehner; seven great grandchildren, Rachel Leanna Clark, Timothy Trevor Clark, Laura Caroline Kuehner, Nicole Anita Louise Kuehner, Noah James Kuehner, Nathan Timothy Kuehner, and Asha Elise Kuehner; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, NY; where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Ed Woods of Delmar, N.Y. officiating. Interment will take place at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson?s Research, Grand Central Station, P.O.
