Obituary of Scott G. Brown

Mr. Scott G. Brown, 70, of Killarney Ct., Saratoga, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife and dear family and friends. Born on March 27, 1936 in Blackfoot, Idaho he was the son of the late Robert Douglas Brown and Alberta Gardner Brown. He received his education in Lewistown, Montana. In the 1950?s, Scott joined the United States Army and was stationed in France, before being honorably discharged and moving to California. Scott was the owner of the Towne & County Office Products based in Visalia, California. He retired in 1997, and moved to Saratoga in 1999. Scott was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling and venturing to Mohican Sun. His loving family includes his wife Cathy Decker Brown. They were united in marriage on November 4, 1978. Scott also leaves his sons Monty S. Laila Brown of Danville, Ca. and Myles T. Brown Dana of Santa Clarita, Ca.; brothers, Warren Marilyn Brown of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Noel Charlene Brown of Idaho; nieces and nephews. Scott?s best canine pal, his beloved Heidi, recently passed away. A service to celebrate the life of Scott will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave. The Rev Dan J. Wheeler, officiating. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. It is the request of the family that contributions be made in Scott?s memory to the New York Oncology Hematology, or to Hospice Of Saratoga, both in care of the funeral home office.
