Obituary of Christine J. Everhardt

Christine J. Everhardt, 83, of the Theodore Roosevelt Apartments, passed away unexpectedly Saturday November 18, 2006 at her home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 11, 1922 a daughter of John and Laura Agresta Morabito. She was a life long Amsterdam resident and attended local schools. Ms. Everhardt worked for many years at the Scotia, NY Naval Depot. She last was employed by the former Coleco Industries in Amsterdam before retiring in 1977. Christine was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. She enjoyed going out to play bingo with her friends but most of all she enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving daughter, Loretta A. Tesiero and her husband Bartley J. of Amsterdam. Her loving son, Walter E. Everhardt and his wife Anna of Amsterdam. One brother, Anthony Morabito of Connecticut. Four grandchildren, Bartley J. Tesiero II of Amsterdam, Tammy Phillips and her husband Scott of Round Hill, Virginia, Timothy and Katarina Everhardt of Amsterdam. Five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Owen, Aspen and Ayden Phillips and Gianina Tesiero. Nieces, Nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:15 A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15A.M. at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Grove St. Amsterdam with the Rev. Lawrence J. Decker as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michael?s Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the funeral home.
