Obituary of Frank Burton Wemple

Frank Burton Wemple, 71, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly November 17, 2006 at home. Born on October 12, 1935 in Gloversville, he was the son of the late W. Barent and Ashley Burton Wemple, who resided in Fonda for many years. Mr. Wemple attended Bard College and Columbia University. He assisted his father for many years at the family newspaper, the ?Mohawk Valley Democrat.? Survivors include his cousins, John Burton of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Katherine Gordon of Guilderland and a good friend, Joseph Garda. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service that will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 1p.m. at Maple Avenue Cemetery in Fultonville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Frothingham Library of Fonda, or to the charity of one?s choice in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY.
