Obituary of Lorraine J. Boundy

Mrs. Lorraine J. Boundy, 78 years old, of Honey Corners Road, died Saturday at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Mrs. Boundy was born January 18, 1928 in Amsterdam, a daughter of Arthur and Mabel Smith Kinglesey. She was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School, class of 1946. Mrs. Boundy moved to Broadalbin in 1959 where she had since resided. She was employed in the accounting office of General Electric in Schenectady, as a clerk, for 41 years retiring in 1988. Mrs. Boundy was a member of the Perth and Hagaman Seniors and enjoyed the trips offered by those organizations. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and antiques. Her husband, Clair F. Boundy, whom she married July 25, 1953, died March 18, 1993. Mrs. Boundy is survived by her sister June Bond and her two nephews David and Ralph Bond. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday at Union Mills Cemetery, Broadalbin, with The Rev. Dennis Burke officiating. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. in Broadalbin.
