Obituary of Miriam Sesonske

Miriam Sesonske, 93 of Gloversville, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006. She was born November 25, 1912 in Catskill, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Ester Goldberg Sesonske. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and business school in Watertown. Her family moved to Gloversville in 1936. Miss Sesonske was executive secretary for Jim Casey of the National Association of Glove Manufacturing for more than 40 years, retiring in 1987. Miriam was also a member of the Gloversville Business and Professional Women?s Association. An avid reader, Miriam spent much of her time at the Gloversville Free Library, and was a long time supporter and volunteer, especially for Friends of the Library. Survivors include two brothers, Stephen Virginia Sesonske of Gloversville, and Alexander Sesonske of Santa Barbara, CA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday from the Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers, her family has asked contributions be made to the Friends of the Library, 58 E. Fulton Street. Gloversville
