Obituary of Garrison A. Cramer

Mr. Garrison A. ?Gary? Cramer, 53 years old of Sanders Street, Chicopee, died Wednesday morning at the Willamasett Facility in Chicopee. He was born May 7, 1953 in Amsterdam, NY, a son of Gerald W. and Grace Heck Cramer and was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. While he resided in the Amsterdam area, Gary owned and operated the Mity-Fine Donut Shop in Rockton. He was a communicant of St. Stephen?s Roman Catholic Church in Hagaman and a member and past Chief of the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department. Gary was also a member of the Sons of Amvets Post#12 in Chicopee. Survivors in addition to his father are: his companion Linda Petit of Chicopee, two sons Justin Cramer of Hagaman and Joel Cramer of Canajoharie, his daughter Bethany Cramer of Canajoharie, two brothers Jerry Cramer of Schenectady and Timothy Cramer of Satellite Beach, Florida, his sister Donna Cramer-Cloud of Mayfield, his grand daughter Lorelei Cramer, and the mother of his children, Julie Cramer. Nieces, nephews and cousin also survive. Funeral services will be 9:00am Friday at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, followed at 10:00am by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen?s Church in Hagaman. Burial is in St. Stephen?s Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4 until 7pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made: Hagaman Vol. Fire Dept. or American Cancer Society.
