Obituary of Rosemary Polimino

Rosemary Polimino, 69, of Orchard St., Canajoharie, NY passed away Friday August 25, 2006 at the Mountain Valley Hospice Home in Gloversville following a brief illness. Born in New Rochelle, NY on March 19, 1937 she was a daughter of Frank and Louise Columbo Funigiello. She was raised in New Rochelle, NY and was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament High School there. While in New Rochelle she was the owner and operator of the Side-Street Deli for many years. She came to the Canajoharie area in 1991. She enjoyed working and most recently taking care of her pet dogs and her bird Jake. Rosemary loved visitors to her home and would always be visible on her front porch. Survivor?s include four sons, Peter Polimino of Mahopac, NY, Anthony Polimino of White Plains, NY, Francis Polimino of Canajoharie, NY and John Polimino of New Rochelle, NY. One brother, Anthony Funigiello of New Rochelle, NY, Two sisters, Florence Asgian of Barnegat, N.J. and Carol Pardon of New Rochelle, NY. Four cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Gina Polimino of Mahopac, NY and Nicole and Matthew Polimino of Canajoharie, NY. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The family cordially invites everyone to attend a gathering in honor of Rosemary on Saturday September 2, 2006 beginning at 1:00P.M. at her son Francis? home on 95 Cliff St. in Canajoharie, NY.
