Obituary of Peter Cardarella

Peter Cardarella, 57, of Charles Lane, passed away Sunday at his home. Born in Amsterdam on Dec. 1, 1948, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Mary Ciamprone Cardarella, he attended local schools. Peter worked for a number of years at the Sonoco Paper Products in Amsterdam before he retired due to disability. He was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Peter will always be remembered as a loving, kind man who was a dear friend to many. His only child, Kelly Cadmus, predeceased him as well as a sister, Sandra Levendusky. He leaves behind his sisters; Rita and her husband Jake LaBate and Mary Lou and her husband Tom Adamchick all of Amsterdam; his beloved grandsons, Cody and Bronson as well as nieces, nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated by Fr. Lawrence J. Decker on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church. There will be no calling hours and interment is in St. Michael?s Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Peter?s name to an education fund for his grandson Bronson, in care of Mary Lou Adamchick, 312 Voorhees Rd. Amsterdam 12010.
