Obituary of Mark Loux

Mark ?Whale? Loux, age 49 of Gloversville, died suddenly on Thursday, May 12, 2006 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville, NY. He was born September 2, 1956 in Gloversville, a son of the late Arnold and Mildred Bowman Loux. A 1974 graduate of Gloversville High School, Mark was employed as a corrections officer for the NYS Division for Youth at Tryon, Johnstown. Mark was a member of the Sacandaga Harley Owners Group. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Eileen ?EJ? McGrail Loux; two brothers, E. Chuck Loux Susan of Caroga Lake and Larry Loux Beverly of Florida; nephews Kyle Loux and Michael Loux Nicole and grand niece Sage Loux. Surviving on the McGrail side are Donald Grimaldi Carol, Richard McGrail Lucile, Margaret Sanders Darryl, Kathleen Labreche Roland, Michael ?Big Mike? McGrail Debbie and Patrick McGrail Karen; and 12 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Monday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St.; Gloversville, where a prayer service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday. Cremation will follow at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205
