Obituary of Helen Bessel Dybas

Helen Bessel Dybas, 84, of Storrie Street, passed away Monday afternoon at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility after a lengthy illness. Born in Broadalbin, New York on June 11, 1921, she was the daughter of William and Lucy Lukasewicz Bessel. She lived here most of her life. A homemaker, Helen was a communicant of the former St. Joseph?s Roman Catholic Church, and currently of St. Mary?s She was predeceased by her son, Gordon Dybas. Survivors include her son Edward and his wife Carol Dybas of Perth; her granddaughter Tracey Dybas; a great-grandson, Kody LaGreca, and nieces and nephews. Services are Thursday at 10:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. Interment will follow in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Ft. Johnson. A calling hour will begin at 9am prior to the service. The family wishes to thank everyone at CHC, St. Mary?s Hospital and the Edward L. Wilkinson RHCF for their care and concern. Contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA in care of the funeral home.
