Obituary of Violet Papierniak

Violet Papierniak On March 26, 2005 god sent his Angels to carry Walerja Violet Papierniak to his heavenly home. Born on September 14, 1904 in the village of Wojtowa, Poland, one of 10 children of Marja and Jan Krygowski. Violet married Stanley Papierniak in Poland in 1928 and joined him in the United States in 1932 with their Three year old daughter Stefania. Her children Daniel, Stanley and Elaine were born in Amsterdam, NY. She traveled to Poland for a joyous reunion with her remaining family there in August of 1978. She moved to Austin, TX in 1980 to be with her daughter and family. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam and a member of the churches Rosary Society. She was also a communicant of St. Anthony Marie Claret of Kyle, TX. She felt blessed with a wonderful family and very loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivor?s include- One daughter- Elaine Mason and her husband Ray of Buda, TX Daughters in Law- Eleanor Papierniak of Amsterdam, NY and Kathy Parker of Saratoga Springs, NY.Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren; They include- Kenneth and Rebecca Papierniak, who with their daughters Terry and Rachel and three grandchildren, Chase, Kevin and Blake, live in Olive Bridge, NY. Kathy and Peter Zimmerman of Tavares, FL and their children Peter, of Tavares Fl. and Sara of Tampa, FL. Ronald and AnnMarie Papierniak and their children, Daniel and Megan of Tribes Hill, NY. Joanne and Timothy Griffin and their daughter Parker of Jacksonville, Fl. Colleen Parker of Boston, MA and Ryan and Lori Mason of Buda TX. She is also survived by Two Sisters- Emma Trzaskos and Natalia Zabawa in Wojtowa, Poland. In-Laws, cousins, nieces and nephews both in the United States and in Poland also survive. Mrs. Papierniak was pre-deceased by her Parents, Three Brothers and Four Sisters all in Poland. Her husband Stanley Papierniak, Her Daughter- Stefania Papierniak and Sons- Daniel Papierniak and Stanley Parker and a daughter in law Susan Sims Parker. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 30th, 2005 at 9:45A.M. at the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam followed by A Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30A.M. at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Cornell St. Amsterdam with the Rev. David Mickiewicz officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-7P.M. at the funeral home. The Rosary Society will meet at 4:15P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
